Saving Old Work

Can you possibly say you have EVERY single piece of GFX you ever made saved and in your possession? I was just thinking about this the other day, I have very few of my work from 4 years actually saved!! Not that they were magical masterpieces but mostly because I had so much fun making GFX back then that I would love to go back and take a look at the stuff I made just for nostalgia and whatnot.

My laptop that I primarily used always needed formatting every couple of months so that alone explains a bunch of my stuff I'll never see again. Then when my laptop really died out I had to use a Desktop which was around 07 when I dare say I was making pretty good shit lol. I could have managed to save those pieces however, I lost about 17 months worth of GFX from that Desktop when I somehow managed to fuck up the Desktop just last year and now all I keep getting is an error message at start-up. =/

Yet I still haven't learned my lesson. I still haven't bothered properly saving the stuff I make nowadays. While I do have some stuff from those 4 years in a Photobucket account, there just some very small selective pieces and it's not even remotely close to the total number of stuff I've made. Arghh, oh well. I just felt like ranting about this and was wondering about if you guys had the same problem or were smart enough to properly store your work... I just realized how long this topic is, sorry didn't mean for that to happen lol!

I know what you're saying. For some dumb reason I've deleted alot of my old work off Photobucket. It's so idiotic. Even if your early work wasn't necessairly your best, it defenitely is the most important.

I'm the same way. The only way your gonna see my old stuff is if you spent forever digging around the internet on random forums and photobucket accounts. And even then you'll never find everything. I'm guessing nearly everything I've made since this place was started is still here somewhere, but I don't know that for sure.

I do however keep all my stuff that has been done off the computer. You know.. on paper? : )
