A month after Brock Lesnar pulled off an amazing come from behind victory, Anderson Silva followed suit at UFC 117 tonight. With only less than three minutes left in the fight, Silva pulled off a spectacular come from behind victory to defeat challenger Chael Sonnen.

In another highly anticipated about, Jon Fitch defeated Thiago Alves to once again become the top contender to the UFC welterweight title held by Georges St-Pierre. In another bout with title implications, Junior Dos Santos defeated Roy Nelson to face the winner of the Brock Lesnar - Cain Velasquez heavyweight title fight in October.

Silva got his ass handed to him in every round until he finally managed to get the triangle... Can't believe he wasn't cut!

The event was pretty slow. The only fun match was the one with Clay Guida vs that other guy. The other ones were just too slow.

Anderson Silvas early fights were good. He deserves all the credit for this one though.
